Poor poor POOR.So unhappy I've been unfairly charged for 3 months membership when I haven't been since maybe Feb, if AT ALL this year (it's now October). It wasnt until I arrived at the gym to see it closed with a sign on the door saying an eviction notice had been implemented and Google saying that the gym had Permanently Closed. Could not be happier since I have moved to truegym The classes are run by professional instructors that continue to coach and push you during your class, Very clean and the staff are very helpful but its far to busy at peak times you have to wait to use most of the weights and machines cheers graham jones. The equipment is good and I find that any issues raised were dealt with quickly and professionaly. i had cancelled my membership as i was on the monthly contract, they still charged me for the next 2 months.would not recommend this gym. My contract expired and I cancelled my membership. After I produced the evidence that I collected about the instructor, the gym have eventually cancelled the contract. The Gym is crowded all the time. I have been going to truGym stevenage for over a month and I find the staff very helpful especially Lewis Marshall (Fung Ling pang). Completely recommend this gym for any women that are looking for a great gym for good value for money. I never received any email.In March 2019 i decided to cancel my DD , I had an email from Harlands demanding for payment + additional Charges (25.00) for writing to me.I have spoken to the Branch , They told me that an email was sent out in Aug 2018 asking me to cancel from the TruGym web site which I never received , might have gone to Junk Mail .Then I have requested to cancel in March 2019 , now they demanding Payment of 79.98 and threatening to take me to court or Black list my Credit score .I have only used 1 or 2 months out 10 months payment .I have explained to them I have moved area and impossible to use the GymNo one seems to take notice, All they want is payment and i was told that I signed 12 months contract and they demanding 12 months payments I wish I have done bit of research about this Flesh eating Wolfs who cares about nothing but money People like this don't care other than how much money they make .There is no social care or humanity with this organisation .Please stay away from these Trugym at all cost .I have requested kindly to speak to the management explaining my situation that i have moved area and I can't continue with my membership and also i have paid 10 months membership without using their service but as of yet to date i have not heard nothing other than demanding for payments. I complained because the Les Mills class I was attending was run by an instructor who admitted he had not done Les Mills update training for at least 2 years (it is required twice a year!) The gym gets well overcrowded, especially in the free weights area where training equipment is placed too close to each other that could easily lead to accidents. Don't make the same mistake I did, seems a lot of their branches go under at a moments notice. The lady on the reception named Nina mostly seen in the day time is extremely unwelcoming and rude with most of the members especially with the ones who cover, the management either needs to train her properly or find a more welcoming staff or gym will keep losing members. 3 weeks later and no contact from the Manager at Trugym (despite me ringing 5 TIMES and leaving messages to return my calls) I went back to the gym, only to be informed, by the manager, that he knew nothing about it, had never received my bank statements so assumed they were lost, and claimed he had not received any emails! I'm sure there will be better gyms in whatever area you are in, so I'd avoid this place just in case they decide to close another club, because no one will be told until it's closed.
